This page explains who owns what when you use Drefly: the files you process, the Drefly name and brand, the source code behind the site, and content that belongs to someone else entirely. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Your files stay yours
You own every file you upload, convert, edit, record, or otherwise process through Drefly. We claim no rights, license, or ownership interest in your files at any point. As explained in our Privacy Policy, files are held only for as long as a task needs them and are then deleted.
The Drefly name and brand
The Drefly name, logo, wordmark, and mascot are trademarks of Drefly and may not be used, copied, or adapted without written permission. This includes using a confusingly similar name or logo for another product, or implying that a site or app is made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Drefly when it is not.
If you have a specific reason to reference the Drefly name or logo, for example in press coverage, a review, or a genuine integration, contact support@drefly.pro first.
The Drefly source code
The Drefly source code, including the tools, the site, and the underlying business logic, is proprietary and confidential. It is not open source. No license, right, or permission to use, copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the source code is granted to you by browsing, using, or interacting with Drefly. All rights not expressly granted in our Terms of Service are reserved.
Third party content and tools
Some Drefly tools, including the downloader tools, let you save content from other platforms. Any content you download, convert, or otherwise handle through Drefly may be owned by someone other than you, and using our tools does not grant you any rights to that content. You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to download, keep, or reuse anything you process, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Drefly itself may rely on open source libraries and other third party components. Those components remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own applicable licenses.
Copyright infringement claims
Drefly does not host, store, or curate content on anyone's behalf, and processed files are deleted once a task finishes. If you believe content that passed through Drefly, or something on the Drefly site itself, infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@drefly.pro that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, and where it appeared.
- Your contact information, including name and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
We review each notice and respond appropriately, which may include removing content we control or disabling access to it.
Trademarks of others
Any third party names, logos, or trademarks referenced on Drefly, including the names of file formats, platforms, or AI providers our tools work with, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or functionality. Their use does not imply any endorsement of or affiliation with Drefly.
