How does booking an ad work?

Pick a tool page, a format and your dates, upload your image or video, write your text and pay. The Drefly team reviews every ad before it goes live.

When does my ad go live?

On your start date, once the Drefly team has approved it. We email you when it is approved.

Can I change my booking?

Before you pay you can change everything from My ads. After paying, you can still edit your ad's media and text while it is in review.

Why do you need my Tax ID?

We need it before your ads can be approved. Add it under Account.

Who handles payment and invoices?

Paddle is the merchant of record. It takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT, and emails you the official tax invoice. The Invoices tab shows a summary you can print.

What files can I upload?

Images in JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB, or videos in MP4, WebM or MOV up to 90 seconds and 90 MB. Videos keep their sound and start muted until the viewer turns it on.

You can cancel free of charge before you pay. After payment, open a ticket in the Support center.

How long can an ad run?

Any length from 1 to 365 days. Longer runs get a bigger discount, and you can book up to 365 days ahead.

How much does an ad on Drefly cost?

Each tool page has its own price per day, shown before you book together with its recent monthly traffic. Video ads cost a little more than image ads, and longer bookings are discounted.

What kind of ads are not allowed?

Anything illegal or misleading, malware, adult content, hate, blasphemy or attacks on any religion, weapons, drugs, gambling, political ads and content you don't have the rights to. Every ad is reviewed by a person before it goes live.

Is there one advertiser per page?

Yes. Each tool page shows one sponsor at a time, so your ad is the only one on that page for your dates.

Your ad reaches people while they are in the middle of real work: students, freelancers, support teams, marketers, developers and small businesses. How booking works

Pick a page and dates. Choose a tool page, the format and your start date. The price and expected reach update as you go.
Create your ad. Upload your media and add a headline, a short description, a button label and your https link. You see a live preview.
Pay securely. Paddle is the merchant of record. It takes card, PayPal and more, adds any sales tax or VAT and emails your invoice. Your dates are held for 30 minutes while you pay.
Review and go live. The Drefly team reviews every ad. Once approved it goes live on your start date, and you get an email either way.

Pricing

Each tool page has its own price per day, shown before you book. Your total is the price per day times the number of days, times the format multiplier for video, minus the discount for longer runs and any coupon. Prices are in USD and tax is added at checkout. If we decline your ad, you get back the amount you paid minus the payment processing fees and taxes that our payment processor, Paddle, keeps and doesn't return. Those fees and taxes are kept by Paddle, not by Drefly. The refund goes back to your original payment method.

Drefly's tools are free for everyone, so we keep ads safe and honest. Ads and landing pages must be legal, truthful and yours to use. Malware, misleading claims, adult content, hate, blasphemy or attacks on any religion, weapons, drugs, gambling and political ads are not allowed.
